Note:

I do not like it when people start up an instant message conversation thingy with me and before I even have the chance to say "hi" (or any form of greeting), they say "g2g, bi". Please note, there are two things I dislike here: (i)why did you bother to start up the conversation if you had to go that second? and (ii)"bi"? Please, at least learn to spell "bye". Not that much more effort is involved: one whole letter more. Come on, I mean I know I'm lazy, but even I bother to write "bye" if that's the salutation I wish to use.
